THH Academy is not a flight school. It is an aviation leadership and professional-development Academy built around a simple reality: flying ability and technical excellence alone do not prepare someone for the full weight of leadership.
A pilot sees the flight. An aviation leader learns to see everything the flight touches.
The Academy develops the ability to understand that wider environment — to influence people well, exercise sound judgement, develop others, navigate change and contribute meaningfully to aviation's future. Leadership is examined from inside aviation itself, not through a generic corporate course decorated with aircraft.

Leadership is not measured by how many people follow you, but by how many become greater because you led them. If your leadership ends with you, it was never leadership worth following.

Influence is not rank. Influence is earned trust.

Influence creates the opportunity to develop people. Great leaders use that opportunity deliberately — teaching, coaching, challenging and preparing others to carry responsibility with confidence of their own.

Built from inside aviation.
THH Academy is the leadership and professional-development arm of The Helicopter Hub, a global aviation community founded in 2018.
The Academy was created to develop aviation professionals for responsibilities that extend beyond technical competence — leading people, exercising judgement, strengthening organisations and contributing to the future of the industry.
Its programmes combine aviation context, leadership practice and deliberate reflection. Each programme is developed around the realities of professional aviation and the standard of leadership the industry requires.

What you may want to know.
Do I need to be a pilot to take the program?
No. The THH Aviation Leadership Program is designed for aviation professionals across roles, operators and sectors. It is relevant to people moving toward greater responsibility in command, instruction, operations, management or organisational leadership.
How is the program delivered?
The program is delivered through the THH Academy online learning environment. It follows fourteen connected stages combining guided learning, reflection, practical application and assessment. Any scheduled or facilitated elements will be explained before enrolment.
How long does the programme take?
The final completion period and expected study commitment are still being established. These details will be published before enrolment opens so every learner understands the commitment before joining.
How is learning assessed?
Assessment focuses on leadership understanding, judgement, reflection and practical application within aviation. Learners will work through questions, scenarios and applied activities that demonstrate how they interpret and use the ideas presented. Detailed assessment requirements will be provided before enrolment.
Can an operator enrol a team or arrange a cohort?
Yes. THH Academy welcomes conversations with operators and aviation organisations interested in developing groups of leaders. Select “Develop leaders in my organisation” in Pathfinder or choose “Corporate / operator enquiry” in the enquiry form.
When will enrolment open?
A public enrolment date has not yet been announced. Submit an Aviation Leadership Program enquiry to register your interest and receive program information when enrolment details are released.
How do existing learners sign in?
Select Sign In from the site navigation and use the email address associated with your Academy account. If you cannot access your account, contact academy@thh.aero.
How do I join The Helicopter Hub community?
The Helicopter Hub community is separate from enrolment in THH Academy. To request the current joining details, email franchua@thh.aero or contact The Helicopter Hub on WhatsApp at +27 82 868 7365.
Is the program accredited?
The THH Aviation Leadership Program is not currently accredited. It is a professional-development program offered by THH Academy. THH Academy intends to pursue formal accreditation for the program as the Academy develops. Until that process is completed and approval is formally granted, the program will not be represented as an accredited qualification.
